The FE12 OD Mounted Flange Facer is a compact and high-precision flange resurfacing solution engineered for flanges up to 12 inches (305 mm). Designed for both field service and workshop applications, this portable flange facing machine restores damaged sealing surfaces and generates ASME-compliant spiral serrations with exceptional accuracy.
With its external mounting structure, the FE12 eliminates the need for internal pipe access, allowing safe machining on vertical, horizontal, or overhead flanges. It is widely used across industries such as oil and gas, petrochemical processing, power plants, shipbuilding, and offshore maintenance.

KEY FEATURES
ASME-Compliant Surface Finish
The FE12 produces gramophone-style spiral serrations (30-55 grooves per inch) in accordance with ASME B16.5 requirements. Surface roughness range: Ra 3.2-12.5 μm, ensuring optimal gasket sealing performance and leak prevention.
Dual Feed Rate System
Two selectable feed speeds: 0.125 mm/rev for fine finishing and smooth surface restoration, and 0.5 mm/rev for phonographic serration generation for sealing faces. This flexible feed system enables efficient roughing and finishing operations.
External Mounting Design
The OD-mounted clamping system provides safe machining without entering the pipeline, stable positioning for confined spaces, and reliable operation on overhead or vertical flanges. Ideal for maintenance shutdowns and emergency repairs.
Multiple Drive Configurations
The FE12 series offers two power options to meet different working environments: FE12P Pneumatic (1.34 Hp) recommended for hazardous or explosive zones (ATEX-ready environments), and FE12E Electric Servo (1.34 Hp) for high-precision control in workshop and fabrication facilities.
