Product Description
FI26 Internal Mount Portable Flange Facer (120–700 mm / 4.72"–27.56")
On-Site Machining Solution
The FI26 internal mount flange facing machine is a heavy-duty, portable on-site machining solution engineered for precise flange resurfacing and gasket sealing surface restoration. With a working range of 120 to 700 mm (4.72"-27.56"), it is designed to handle worn, damaged, or corroded flanges directly at the jobsite—eliminating costly dismantling and downtime.
FI26 Internal Mount Portable Flange Facer with 120–700 mm Facing Diameter and Precision Cutting Performance 0
Capable of machining FF, RF, RTJ, T&G, lens ring, compact flanges, as well as custom groove profiles, the FI26 consistently delivers surface finishes compliant with ASME B16.5 standards. Its reinforced frame, stable feed system, and flexible drive options make it an ideal choice for extended field operations in refineries, power generation plants, offshore facilities, and other demanding industrial environments.

Key Features & Benefits
  • Portable Modular Design: Segmented and lightweight construction allows easy transportation and fast assembly, making the FI26 highly suitable for on-site and remote applications.
  • Precision Cutting Performance: Equipped with high-quality NSK bearings and precision linear guideways for smooth operation with minimal vibration and consistent machining accuracy.
  • Dual Feed Rates for Different Finishes: 0.125 mm/rev for smooth, fine surface finishing and 0.5 mm/rev for serrated or phonographic gasket surfaces.
  • Flexible Power Options: Available with either pneumatic motor or Panasonic electric servo drive for sites with limited power availability or strict safety requirements.
  • Multiple Flange Face Capabilities: Supports all standard sealing face types and customized profiles without replacing the main base assembly.
  • Adjustable Internal Mounting System: Three interchangeable ID mounting bases with micro-adjustable jaws ensure fast centering and precise alignment inside the pipe bore.
  • 360° Universal Tool Holder: Allows angular adjustment for special groove machining and deep-profile cutting applications.
  • Industrial-Grade Reliability: Designed for continuous use in harsh environments including offshore platforms, chemical plants, and power station shutdown projects.

Typical Applications
The FI26 portable flange facer is widely used in:
  • Oil and gas pipelines and refinery maintenance projects
  • Chemical and petrochemical processing facilities
  • Thermal, hydroelectric, and nuclear power plants
  • Shipyards, offshore platforms, and subsea equipment servicing
  • Heavy industrial fabrication and machinery maintenance workshops
  • Boiler and pressure vessel manufacturing and repair
Thanks to its internal mounting design, the FI26 performs exceptionally well in confined spaces, vertical pipelines, and complex on-site conditions where external clamping is not feasible.
