INDUSTRIES AND APPLICATIONS

The FI14M Manual Flange Facing Machine is designed for field maintenance and on-site flange resurfacing in demanding industrial environments. Its fully manual operation and compact form factor make it particularly well-suited for industries where equipment reliability, site accessibility, and operational safety are essential.

Oil and Gas Industry

In upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors, flange integrity is vital for maintaining system pressure and preventing leakage. The FI14M is ideal for use on offshore platforms, pipeline networks, refineries, and processing units, particularly in hazardous or explosion-risk zones where powered equipment is prohibited.

Petrochemical and Chemical Processing

Chemical plants often operate under harsh conditions involving corrosive media and high temperatures. Flanges subjected to repeated thermal cycling or chemical attack may develop sealing issues. The FI14M provides an effective in-situ solution for flange resurfacing during planned turnarounds, emergency shutdowns, or maintenance in confined or classified areas.

Power Generation

Applicable across thermal, nuclear, and renewable power facilities, this tool enables maintenance teams to quickly restore flange surfaces on high-pressure steam and fluid systems. It is especially useful during scheduled outages where downtime must be minimized, and where access is limited—such as in elevated pipe racks or congested turbine halls.

Construction and Industrial Maintenance

During mechanical installations, retrofits, or system upgrades, the FI14M serves as a portable and reliable tool for ensuring proper flange sealing surfaces. It supports contractors and plant maintenance crews in achieving consistent results without relying on external power, which is particularly advantageous on remote sites or during early-stage construction.
